Please note regarding field conditions - we do our best to monitor the fields and update the website.  But late breaking weather is always a possibility.  We leave fields open as long as possible to err on the side of keeping them open.

• In general, during times of questionable weather, we will try to provide weekday updates by 3:00pm.
• Please respect the decision to close the field as it is often done to avoid tearing up an already soft field (even if it isn't raining.)
• When practice is limited to outfield only, it's so that the dirt doesn't get destroyed. If you are allowing kids to run all over the soft infield, it defeats the purpose. Raking out footprints from the dirt adds several hours for field prep. Please keep kids off the soft dirt when the practice is limited to outfield only.
• Please be aware that a field may show as open but when you get to the field, the ongoing drizzle has made it unplayable.  Coaches will often be asked to use their discretion when arriving at a field if playing will cause damage to the field.
• During game time, coaches and umpires must make decisions.  Lightning will suspend play for 1/2 hour.  Please take proper cover in your car.
